EXPERIMENTAL EXAMINATION OF TRANSIENT DIRECTIONAL RESPONSE TESTS
Four tests for measuring the transient directional response of passenger cars were performed to evaluate their respective merits. The tests examined were (1) ramp-step steer test, (2) reverse steer, (3) lane change (sinusoidal steer), and (4) pseudo-random steer.
