THE OBSERVER IN MOTION IN THE ENVIRONMENT
L'OSSERVATORE IN MOTO NELL'AMBIENTE
An analysis is made of the complex problems (retina image, time process of the visual sensation, visual acuity) of the human visual mechanism in relation to the safety of road traffic. The subject is developed theoretically in conjunction with experiments relating to the optic messages which the road and its marginal signals can transmit to the driver. (TRRL)
