UNDERWATER WORK FUNCTIONS REQUIRED IN SALVAGE
Sixteen salvage operations were reviewed and two experienced salvors interviewed to determine the work functions required in underwater salvage. The results indicate seven work functions are compatible with hydraulic systems. These work functions are: rigging and loading handling, bolting, mechanical cutting, tunneling/excavating, grappling, drilling and tapping. (Author)
