LONG BRIDGE SPANS CONSTRUCTED OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE IN NORWAY
LANGE BRUSPENN UTFOERT I SPENNBETONG I NORGE
A considerable number of post-tensioned cantilever box girder bridges have been built in Norway during the last twenty years. Two examples with relatively long main span are given, the Osstrupen bridge, with a main span of 198 M, and the Selbjoern bridge, with a main span of 212 M. It is considered probable that cantilevered bridges with main spans of up to 250 M will be built in the relatively near future. (TRRL)
