RIVER TERMINALS ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI-- THE ACCESSIBILITY TO WESTERN COAL

Attention is concentrated on the South Powder River Basin in Wyoming because coal produced from this region may be transported more economically to coal transshipment terminals located along the Mississippi.
