TURBOCHARGING THE AUTOMOTIVE TWO STROKE DIESEL ENGINE
This paper reports the theoretical and experimental investigation of different combinations of automotive, two stroke, diesel engine with scavenge blower, turbocharger and auxiliary combustion chamber. The various configurations are compared on a basis of trapped air flow, charge density and power output.
