AUXILIARY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES FOR SIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS: AN OVERVIEW
This paper reviews the effectiveness of the "Rules of the Road" during signal outages, presents findings of a survey of motorists and traffic engineering practitioners, and advances recommendations for alleviating the hazards which may result from signal outages.
