ROLLERS AND COMPACTION EQUIPMENT

WALZEN UND VERDICHTUNGSGERAETE

Tables are presented giving details of rollers and compaction equipment including their mechanical characteristics such as type of construction, motor power, drive/steering etc. The presentation is in six parts: static rollers, rubber tyred rollers, sheep's foot rollers; vibratory rollers; tampers; and vibratory plates. Some information follows regarding constructional improvements for some types of equipment, possibilities regarding exchanges of various types of roller bodies or changing in favour of rubber wheels and further special applications.
