LOW-VOLUME ROADS: SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. NATIONAL VIEW
The 12 million-dollar research program in Brazil and less extensive studies in other countries are pointed to as being significant for engineers in the United States who are involved with the maintenance and design of low-volume roads. A review is then made of the conference papers presented by U.S. engineers. The topics of these papers range from a systems approach to design of low-volume roads to soils evaluation and stabilization.
