PROPERTIES OF COMBINED ALUMINUM BEAM AND PLATE

The design information contained in this report was developed primarily for use in the computer program Midship Section design for Naval Ships. Its publication as a separate report provides ship structural designers with convenient tabulations of the properties of both standard extruded aluminum T-beams and T-beams built up of aluminum plate. The T-beams are arranged in order of increasing sectional area.
