Down coal relay
This paper describes the relaying of the 23 km Down Coal line, between Handbury Junction and Maitland with concrete sleepers and 60 kg rail. 16 kms was laid using the SRA's track laying machine in construction mode and the remaining 7 kms was laid "'by hand".
