The strategic role of logistics in the industry 4.0 era
By leveraging new technologies (Additive Manufacturing, Advanced Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vehicles, Blockchain, Drones, Internet of Things, etc.), many companies are developing cyber-physical systems that can change the competition landscape. In the midst of this exciting development, the authors examine the strategic role of logistics and transportation services for creating economic, environmental and social values.
