Study on Method and Decision Making Model for Preventive Maintenance Planning of Asphalt Pavement

With the rapid development of roads in China, highway mileage has increased. Highway management departments spend a lot of money for road maintenance every year, but the growth of funds cannot keep up with the increasing demand for maintenance. Highway management departments need to find new ways to carry out the maintenance. To establish highway maintenance, planning is considered to be the best choice for all countries. In this paper, the processes and decision making model for highway preventive maintenance planning are determined. The method of preventive maintenance planning provides a scientific guide for maintenance management of highway maintenance and management department. This method is applied to the 10 year highway preventive maintenance planning in Hebei Province.
