LOS NUMEROS DEL AUTOTRANSPORTE Y EL ALMACENAJE REFRIGERADOS, EN MEXICO, DURANTE 2017

Luego de constatar la utilidad y el interes por el tipo de hallazgos derivados de los trabajos antecedentes de esta investigacion, tanto por parte de la academia como por usuarios y oferentes de los servicios de transporte refrigerado, este trabajo tiene como objetivo esbozar las bases para la actualizacion continua y periodica de informacion estadistica referente a la oferta de servicios de transporte y almacenaje refrigerados, en Mexico. Entre los resultados del ejercicio, destaca el conocimiento de la distribucion espacial de la oferta y la comprobacion de las tasas de crecimiento que muestran los sectores del autotransporte y el almacenaje refrigerado. Ademas, muestra indicios de la distribucion de la demanda y el incremento en las exigencias de los usuarios, requerimientos seguramente vinculados al crecimiento del comercio exterior; particularmente de productos perecederos. De manera especial, la exportacion de frutas y verduras, y la importacion de carnicos. Finalmente, con esta tarea y -en su caso- con las actualizaciones posteriores del ejercicio, confiamos en que aportaran elementos para la toma de ciertas decisiones por parte de los diversos tipos de actores involucrados en la gestion, prestacion y uso de los servicios de autotransporte refrigerado; y, en general, de la cadena de frio. Abstract: After confirming the usefulness and interest in the type of findings derived from the background work of this research, both by the academy and by users and providers of the services of refrigerated transport. The objective of this work is to outline the bases for the continuous and periodic updating of statistical information regarding the supply of refrigerated transport and storage services in Mexico. Among the results of the excersise, it highlights the knowledge about the spatial distribution of offer and the verification of the high growth rates that shows the refrigerated sectors, both the transport and the storage. There are signs of the favorable evolution of the cold chain in recent years in our country. In addition, it shows assumptions of demand distribution and reveals the increasing in user demands for this kind of services whith requirements surely linked to the growth of foreign trade, particularly of perishable products. In a special way, the export of fruits and vegetables, and, the import of meat. Finally, with this task and, it’s subsequent updates, it is entrusted to provide elements for decision making of the various types of actors involved in the provision and use of refrigerated motor carrier services and in general the cold chain.
