The investigation deals with the properties of the ash products of coal burning power plants as road construction material both as a literature study and experimentally. The experimental part dealt only with fly ash in laboratory conditions. The literature study deals with chemical and physical properties as well as requirements of fly ash. In the experimental part the strengthening of fly ash without and with various stabilizers is studied, as is the influence of fly ash on improving the natural marginal soil. (TRRL)
