RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF SETTING RETARDERS UPON THE WORKABILITY OF CONCRETE

UNTERSUCHUNGEN ZUR WIRKUNG VON ERSTARRUNGSVERZOEGERERN AUF DIE VERARBEITBARKEIT VON BETON

There exists a Cerib translation into French of the original German article: NT 78-09-3. A study was made of the setting of different types of cement in the presence of setting retarders. The influence of these retarders on workability and compressive strength of mortar and concrete was examined. The results show that caution is indicated when such admixtures are used. (TRRL)
