WATERWAY TRANSPORTATION - COSTS OF COST-BENEFIT ANALYSES FOR INVESTMENTS IN INLAND WATERWAYS
The paper describes which calculation methods and appropriate project-specific studies have been carried out for the field of inland waterways in the Federal Republic of Germany and what conclusions can be drawn from the results obtained. Fundamental methods of cost-benefit analyses and their use in waterway engineering are discussed.
