Development of Postural Assessment System Based on Biomechanics Simulation: System Integration
Various vehicles are produced according to the development of the industrial technology. The driver will take different driving postures for various vehicles. Moreover, not only the driving posture but also driver her/himself diversifies because of increases of the senior and female drivers. The combinations of the driving postures and drivers become vast number. In the future, the system that can simulate various driving posture and physical characteristics is necessary to develop the vehicle. In this paper, the integrated postural assessment system is developed using two generalized software and an original code. The original code is the motion generation model which connects the vehicle model with the musculo-skeletal model. Then an example of the integrated analysis of which motion of vehicle influence on the muscle activity is shown.
