Relationship between Occurrence of Traffic Accidents and Drivers′ Experiences of Traffic Accidents or Violations in the Past
Authors conducted macro analyses of traffic accidents/ violations in 2009 in relation to drivers′ experiences of traffic accidents/violations in 2004-2008. The results show a high probability that the same traffic accidents or violations as the ones in the past will happen. Furthermore, it is revealed that drivers who disregard traffic signals or make stop sign violations have a tendency to cause traffic accidents.
