FINANCIAL AND LEGAL ASPECTS OF LNG TRADING CONSIDERED IMPORTANT FROM A SHIPOWNER'S VIEWPOINT
The paper discusses the economical risk areas related particularly to the transportation element of an LNG project. Various procedures which again have different effects on the project risks. Reference is particularly made to the U.S. regulatory system. The influence of the various projects, risks on the shipowner's financing possibilities/terms is reviewed. Financing solutions, ideal from a shipowner's point of view, are discussed.
