B & W LOOKS BEYOND 130G/BHP H
Fifteen percent more power per cylinder while retaining low fuel consumption has been achieved by B&W and its Japanese licensee Mitsui in further developing the K/L-GFC series of slow-speed engines. Performance curves and official shop trial results from a nine-cylinder L90GFC engine are presented. Operating of engine and large propellers, uprating of the A-type engine and the L-MFC series to come are discussed.
