Reactivity Analysis and Modeling of Cu-SCR Based on NH₃-SCR Mechanism Considering Cu Redox
In this study, NOₓ purification characteristics of Cu-zeolite catalyst were analyzed based on the NH₃-SCR reaction mechanism considering Cu redox. Adsorbed NH₃ showed different reactivity with NOₓ depending on the type of adsorption site and gas compositions. Reactivity of adsorbed NH₃ on Cu sites had changed by the presence of oxidative gas component, and it was shown that NOₓ was also purified at reaction sites derived from zeolite. The authors proposed reaction schemes considering these effects and developed the SCR/DPF model incorporating these schemes.
