A study on the relationship between consciousness of participating for management activities of public transport by the local residents and subjective well-being
In areas where the bus has been abolished and there is no public transportation, the cases are increasing that the residents start to manage alternative public transport. Research on the feasibility of that project and on the evaluation before and after the introduction of it has been conducted, but few researches has been conducted to find the relationship between that activities and residents life satisfaction or subjective well-being. In this research, the authors examined whether the consciousness of participating for management activities of that system contributes to improving their subjective well-being by using a subjective well-being scale. Also, in this study, it is revealed that the consciousness of participating for management activities of public transport by the local residents has a good impact on subjective well-being.
