Geo-Risk 2017: Reliability-Based Design and Code Developments
This Geotechnical Special Publication includes selected papers from Geo-Risk 2017, held in Denver, Colorado, June 4–7, 2017 sponsored by the Geo-Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). It contains 53 peer-reviewed papers on the use of reliability-based design methodologies and reliability-based code developments in geotechnical practice. Topics include: risk-based code developments; probabilistic methods and reliability analysis; performance-based liquefaction assessment and mitigation; probabilistic performance and resilience assessment; and load resistance factor design developments and applications. This document will provide practitioners and academics with a valuable reference on reliability-based design methodologies in geotechnical practice.
