RESEARCH ON THE QUESTION OF SENSITIVITY TO NOISE
UNTERSUCHUNGEN ZUR FRAGE DER LAERMEMPFINDLICHKEIT
A process using aerial photography to determine both the intensity and emission of noise in an urban area has been developed and tested. The results do not deviate systematically from manual evaluation results and are exact to within 4 to 11 percent. The advantages over traditional methods are less sensitivity to interference and less danger of accidents, more detailed information and greater mobility, as well as advantageous costs for an increase in the data content.
