LES TROLLEYBUS BERLIET - TCO ER 100, SYMBOLE D'UNE RENOUVEAU

The appearance of the New trolleybuses on the Lyon network at the same time as their introduction on a route which had hitherto been served by buses, provides a practical example of the change in orientation in favour of this mode of transport. The paper examines successively the reasons for this reversal, the principles which have guided the design of new equipment, the first results obtained and the future of the development of the trolleybus, firstly at Lyon and then in general.
