THE ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE VESSEL TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN THE NEW WATERWAY, ROTTERDAM
This dissertation has the objective to analyse the organisational structure of a Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) in a large harbour. As an example the harbour of Rotterdam is chosen. The dissertation gives an idea of the future cargo flow the Rotterdam harbour will have to cope with. It takes a system approach towards the VTMS and describes the organisational part of the system.
