COST OPTIMIZATION IN MEASURES FOR DECREASING NOISE

KOSTENOPTIMIERUNG BEI MASSNAHMEN ZUR GERAEUSCHMINDERUNG

A criterion for comparing the cost effectiveness of measures for decreasing noise is developed. The use of the criterion for selecting the best measure from the point of view of cost is illustrated with reference to existing facilities. Other applications, for example to new facilities, are indicated. (TRRL)
