To replace the open vehicles for transporting cars on accompanied car trains, new two-tier closed wagons are proposed. For a train made up of 4 coaches and 8 car-carrying vehicles, travelling at a speed of 140 km/h, 900 kW of energy can be saved by cutting out the wind. Ramps are not essential for loading. A 760 mm high platform is sufficient. Access to the car is also possible during the trip. The bogies have solid wheels 630 mm in diameter.
