PRACTICAL HINTS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF BOW THRUSTERS

EINIGE PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE ZUM EINBAU VON BUGSTRAHLRUDERN

The article gives practical hints for the layout of the tunnel for side thrusters. The following design features are mentioned: Fairing of the tunnel entrance, length of tunnel, hull form in way of tunnel, protection grid, vertical distances to waterline and keel and pressure relief tunnel.
