A RATIONAL APPROACH TO INTACT SHIP STABILITY ASSESSMENT
In this study, asymptotic and total stability of the non-linear free and forced pure rolling motions of a ship are investigated. A ship performing a rolling motion is taken as a dynamical system. Lyapunov's direct method is employed in the analysis.
