DEVELOPING AND TESTING OF A NEW STEEL FOR RAILROAD WHEELS

ENTWICKLUNG UND ERPROBUNG EINES NEUEN STAHLES FUER EISENBAHNRAEDER

The improved properties of a new alloy for railroad wheels are reported. A table of various compositions and test results of 14 alloyed steels is supplied. These new alloys are being used for both locomotives and passenger cars.
