EVALUATION OF RISKS AND DANGER OF ACCIDENTS DURING MARSHALLING
RISIKOEINSCHAETZUNG UND UNFALLGEFAEHRDUNG BEIM RANGIEREN
A questionnaire for evaluating dangers is given and the structure and the way of analyzing results is described. The objective risks were evaluated by analyzing reports of accidents in 3 workshops and two marshalling yards on the DB, while the subjective estimation of the risks was estimated by means of the questionnaire set to 143 switchmen. The evaluation of the difference between the real danger and the subjective estimation of the risk involved in various operation can stimulate appropriate action to prevent accidents, such as training courses and ergonomic measures.
