THE COMPUTER DILEMMA
Rapid evolution of computer technology requires decisions about present installations in the light of potential developments. The author indicates three areas where the information systems manager has problems: Relative cost of personnel resources vs. hardware costs; the communications capabilities which are developing; and the problem of distributed data processing.
