Combustion Technologies of High Compression Ratio Engine Using High Pressure Gasoline Injection (Second Report)
ガソリン高圧噴射を用いた高圧縮比エンジンの燃焼技術(第2報)
In the previous paper, a new combustion concept using high pressure gasoline injection was proposed and feasibilities were suggested. In this paper, combustion concept and performance validation were conducted with a high compression ratio single cylinder engine. As a result, high efficiency was achieved by avoiding irregular combustion, with rapid combustion and smoke reduction brought by high pressure injection and high-functioned combustion chamber.前報において,高圧噴射を用いた新たな燃焼コンセプトの提案とその実現可能性を示唆した.本報では,高圧縮比の単気筒エンジンを用いて,コンセプト検証と性能評価を行った.その結果,噴射圧の高圧化により急速燃焼を,燃焼室の高機能化によりスモーク低減を実現することで,異常燃焼を回避した高効率な燃焼を実現した.
