This special bulletin regroups a number of articles which appeared in Bull 94, 95, 96, 98 and 99 on the following subjects:- general mechanical and physical characteristics of gravel-cement, deformability and ultimate strength, workability, influence of the nature of cement on these characteristics; stabilization with non-conventional types of cement; site problems: manufacture, laying and young-age behaviour of gravel-cement, especially the case of strengthening under traffic; the behaviour of cement-gravel pavements under traffic.
