Can Australian Authorities Use a Common Guardrail Design?
The public domain guardrail barrier specified by each of the eight states and territories in Australia are not the same—they are even referred to using different terminology. This paper aims to identify the differences between the guardrails specified by the different Australian road authorities and explore how a common system may be adopted.
