THE SAFETY BELT

This report on the safety belt, reviews the legislative aspect of the wearing of safety belts in Europe, the minimum risks (0.65%) associated with the wearing of the belt, the effectiveness and the maintenance of belts. Replies are given to nine objections most frequently encountered linked to ejection, fire, pregnancy. (TRRL)
