DESARROLLO DE METODOLOGIA PARA LA ESTIMACION DE LOS VEHICULOS-KILOMETRO RECORRIDOS ANUALMENTE, A NIVEL NACIONAL

En el presente estudio se desarrolla una metodologia para el calculo del indicador vehiculos-kilometro recorridos a nivel nacional, asi como su calculo para los ultimos cuatro anos (2013, 2014, 2015 y 2016), para diferentes tipos de vehiculos (automovil, autobus, vehiculo de carga y motocicleta) y con la informacion actualmente disponible en el pais. Los vehiculos-kilometro son un importante indicador que nos permite conocer la cantidad de kilometros que se recorren en las vialidades por un determinado vehiculo o flota vehicular; asimismo proporciona informacion sobre el volumen de transito, su crecimiento y permite observar la intensidad del uso energetico en el sector transporte. Los vehiculo-kilometro tambien representan un importante indicador para temas ambientales y de transporte sustentable. Se revisaron los metodos utilizados en otros paises para la obtencion del indicador “vehiculos-kilometro”, se considero la factibilidad para la aplicacion de dichos metodos en Mexico con base en la informacion disponible y posteriormente se desarrolló un metodo que se ajustara a las condiciones de nuestro pais. Finalmente, se analizo la factibilidad para obtener informacion extra, con la intencion de lograr un calculo cada vez mas detallado para este indicador. Abstract: In this paper a methodology is developed for the estimation of the vehicle-kilometer indicator traveled at national level, as well as its estimation for the last four years (2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016), for different types of vehicles (automobile, bus, cargo vehicle, motorcycle) and with the information currently available in the country. The vehicles-kilometer are an important indicator that allows us to know the amount of kilometers traveled in the roads by a specific vehicle or vehicle fleet; also provides information about the traffic volume, its growth and allows to observe the intensity of energy use in the transport sector. The vehicle-kilometers also represent an important indicator for environmental issues and sustainable transport. Methods that are used in other countries to obtain the indicator "vehicles-kilometer" were reviewed, the feasibility was considered for the application of these methods in Mexico based on the available information and a method was subsequently developed that fits the conditions of our country. Finally, it was analyzed the feasibility to obtain extra information, with the intention of achieve a most detailedestimation for this indicator
