BUSTER B. SEA BARGE TUG
The 196 grt vessel has an o a length of 127 ft, a draught of 19 ft 6 ins and two EMD 16-645 E7A engines developing 2800 bhp each at 900 rpm give a towing speed and service speed of 10 and 13 knots, respectively. The towing winch has a forward capstan line pull of 11400 lb at 25 ft/min and an aft capstan line of 11000 lb at 45 ft/min. The tug is used for towing petroleum-carrying barges 400 ft long.
