DETERMINATION OF THE PERMEABILITY CHARACTERISTICS OF THICK MASSES OF HETEROGENEOUS BACKFILLS

The authors present the results of experiments carried out on three square basins of 100 M side, filled with material from a quarry, built from 2 and 6 years. For each test the level of water was maintained constant over several months. Account was taken of precipitation in the calculations. (TRRL)
