THE PHENOMENON OF FALSE SETTING IN CEMENT AND ITS MEASUREMENT

EL FENOMENO DE FALSO FRAGUADO EN LOS CEMENTOS Y SU MEDICION

This article deals with the potential anomaly of cement paste in its primary hydration stage known as false setting, how this is interpreted and the measuring necessary for its assessment. The method established by the ASTM standards for cement pastes is interpreted and test values given to clarify the measuring procedure. (TRRL)
