MANUAL DE ENSAYOS PARA LABORATORIO. MEZCLAS ASFALTICAS EN CALIENTE (MAC) PARTE 1. PARA EL CALCULO DE VOLUMETRIA Y ENSAYOS DE DESEMPENO.

En el presente documento se presenta la recopilacion de ensayos de laboratorio utilizados para la evaluacion de mezclas asfalticas, los cuales estan basados en normas de la ASTM las cuales fueron adecuadas y ejemplificadas de acuerdo con la experiencia recabada durante 8 anos durante el programa de interlaboratorio con reconocimiento AMAAC-IMT. Los ensayos presentados se dividen en dos tipos, los que son utilizados para el calculo de las propiedades volumetricas de la mezcla asfaltica (MAC-I, MAC-II y MAC-III), y dos ensayos para la evaluacion del desempeno como son la Susceptibilidad a la humedad mediante el ensayo de Resistencia a la tension indirecta (MAC-IV) y la susceptibilidad a la deformacion permanente mediante el ensayo de Rueda cargada de Hamburgo (MAC-V). Finalmente, se presentan anexos cortos los cuales tienen como objetivo ejemplificar definiciones y procedimiento de calculo requeridos tanto en la ejecucion de los ensayos como en la interpretacion de los mismos. abstract: : This document presents the compilation of laboratory tests used for the evaluation of asphalt mixtures, which are based on ASTM standards which were adapted and exemplified according to the experience obtained during 8 years in the interlaboratory program with AMAAC-IMT certification. The tests presented are divided into two types, which are used for the determination of the volumetric properties of the asphalt mixture (MAC-I, MAC-II and MAC-III), and two tests for the evaluation of performance such as the moisture susceptibility by means of the indirect tensile strength test (MAC-IV) and the rutting susceptibility by means of the Hamburg wheel-track testing (MAC-V). Finally, short annexes are presented, which aim to exemplify definitions and calculation procedures required for both the test execution and its interpretation.
