Climate Friendly Work Travel in Oslo
Klimavennlige jobbreiser i Oslo kommune
The municipality of Oslo has ambitious goals to reduce CO2 emissions. Among the employees of Oslo municipality, the use of cars is relatively low compared to the rest of city and Norway as a whole. However, the authors' analysis shows a significant potential to reduce CO2 emissions by reducing car use among the employees. There are many people employed on schools and kindergartens, and measures towards these work places could have a large impact. The analysis also shows that measures towards work places in the outer city can be more efficient than towards work places in the inner city.
