New Technologies in Handling of Containers

Transport and manipulation of goods in containers is growing every year. Accordingly, there is a need for using new technological solutions for faster and more efficient handling of the containers. Manipulation and transport of containers must be well planned and organized. By using new technologies of handling containers, an accelerated flow of containers in transport terminals is enabled, thus reducing the total retention time of container loading operations. Stakeholders in the transport process endeavour to use modern innovative solutions, supported by modern information technology to reduce unnecessary retention time of containers in container terminals. Compared to the past, the use of new technological solutions significantly reduces the time lost during the handling of containers.
