Development of Compact and High Efficiency 2 Layer-Blower Fan for HVAC
車両空調用小型高性能内外気2 層送風機の開発
The purpose of this research is to develop visualization techniques for the rotating fan and achieve high performance with the two-layered-HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air-conditioning). Three techniques helped to obtain flow visualization images more accurately. First, it was to capture stationary images of a rotating fan by applying image-processing techniques. Secondly, it was to always irradiate the same flow between the blades with laser. Thirdly, passing through micron-sized mist tracers of which diameters determine the traceability of sedimentation velocity, centrifugal force, etc., effectively visualizes the flow. As a result, better accuracy and reliability of flow visualization images can be achieved.車両の低燃費化に向け,換気ロスを低減した内外気2層送風機を量産化した.2層化の実現にはファンの小型化が必要であるが,背反として翼周りの剥離域が拡大し性能が低下するといった課題がある.この剥離域の低減のためには回転翼周りの流れの可視化が有効であり,今回,翼周りの流れを高分解能で解析する技術を報告する.
