Alternative Energy Driven Pneumatic Vehicle

This paper describes the research, design and construction of an alternative energy driven pneumatic experimental vehicle. The main problem studied is to find a gas consumption optimization method by relating the characteristics of the gas, with the pneumatic and mechanical parts of the system. The results are used to build an actual working pneumatic, one person, vehicle that competes in European alternative energy competitions. The method and results can be used mainly in alternative energy vehicle development or even in industrial factory applications for lowering air consumption thus minimizing electrical consumption.
