Research Prioritization Methodology: Report on Peer Exchange hosted by California Department of Transportation Division of Research, Innovation and System Information, Held November 3‐4, 2016 in Sacramento, California

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Division of Research, Innovation and System Information (DRISI) hosted a peer exchange in Sacramento, California on November 3‐4, 2016. The Peer Exchange focused on best practices for prioritizing and selecting research projects. The objective was to share Caltrans Research Prioritization Methodology (RPM) with other state DOTs and obtain their input on the RPM tool and process. The following report summarizes the objectives, process, discussions, and outcomes of the Peer Exchange.
