New Hampshire mandatory on-road driving test for older drivers

In 2011 New Hampshire ended the requirement that drivers 75 and older had to take an on-road driving test at license renewal every five years. This bulletin includes an examination of insurance claim frequency for older drivers comparing 2009-2010 before the law change and 2012-2014 after the law change. Vermont and Maine were used as comparison states. It is concluded that there is no significant evidence that the road test reduced insurance claims among older drivers.
