SOLIDS PIPELINES HOLD PROMISE
Statistical data of existing, in construction, or planned pipe lines handling solid materials such as ores, coal, tailings etc prove that both the practicality of moving solids by pipe line and its technology are well established. Based on research carried out to date several correlations are available to extrapolate data from laboratory bench tests to operating commercial slurry lines, and are discussed.
